You may not get admission to your choice of MBA School.

But if you don’t try, you will never get it.

You may not get applause for your every speech.

But if you don’t go on stage to deliver your speech, you will never get it.

You will not become a super chef of the year.

But if you do not take part in the competition, you will never be able to compete with others.

You may not get every job that you apply for.

But if you don’t apply, you won’t get it.

You may not score a goal on every free-kick.

But if you don’t take a chance to take a free-kick, you will never be able to score.

You won’t be able to close your every deal on your sales call.

But if you don’t discuss with your customer, you’ll never be able to close a deal.

You may not win the local election of your area.

Because no-one can vote for you if your name isn’t on the ballot paper.

It’s tempting to avoid getting off the bench and taking a plunge. The feeling of losing seems to be more disruptive for ourselves.

But what if the feeling of excitement of that ‘one win’ overwhelmed the disappointment of multiple losses we had in the past?

And what if the disappointment of losing we don’t allow to affect us so badly?

It’s in our hands to make things happen for us!
