If you can’t do what you like then like what you do, at least.

One of my all-time favorite quotes is, “Find a job that you love and you’ll never work another day in your life.”

Excellent quote to read, but it doesn’t happen in reality quite often.

I love playing the piano, but I could not become a Pianist.

I love writing but I could not become an Author.

I love traveling and I love to visit different places and write about them but I could not become a travel blogger.

I love to be a leader and lead a team of young aspirants and take the business to new heights, I could not succeed in making a small start-up yet.

You may be passionate about painting, but it probably will never able to help to pay your bills.

Similarly, you may be fond of cooking, you cook lovely dishes, no doubt in it, but lack the ability to ever become a professional chef.

Doing what you love may not be possible always, but what is stopping you from loving what you do.

Change your mindset and the world around you will change.

You can still find a job where you love:

·       The colleagues you work with.

·       The technology you work with.

·       The opportunity to develop new skills.

·       Making true friends at the workplace

·       The ambiance of your workplace you are working in.

·       The flexibility your job can offer.

·       The opportunity you get to interact with new customers and know them personally.

·       The salary that you are being paid.

On average you spend 48 ~50 hours of your week time for your work hence the amount of time you spend at work is not worth remaining miserable, frustrated, dissatisfied and unmotivated.

Try to find something in your present job that you feel thrilled, charged up and excited about. Derive enthusiasm from these factors to remain motivated.

There’s an old song that says, “If you can’t be with the one you love, love the one you’re with.”

It can be adapted to our work-front as “If you can’t do the job you love, love the job you do.”

Find out what is good about your job and start liking it, start loving it. Change your approach and things will start changing soon for you.
