Being busy is like a badge of Honor!

Being busy is like a badge of Honour!

When you ask someone, how things are going, we will often hear the reply, “Nowadays very Busy.”

If you are talking face to face then the word “busy” will be supplemented by rolling of eyeballs top and sideways with a sigh, exhaling the breath for creating an impact on the opposite person.

To remain “Busy” has become a badge of honor for people.

Because people have a derived meaning out of it, If I’m busy, then whatever I am doing is very important.

Secondly, if everyone else is busy, then I must portray as if I am too, or at least tell everyone that I am busy.

And that’s how it is going on around us.

I’m busy, you’re busy, we all are busy.

In fact, being busy is over-rated.

What are we going to express by saying “I am busy”? Are we showing our importance or we are trying to avoid something?

The ‘Busy’ label will reduce our effectiveness.

We feel ‘being busy’ would make an impact. Yes, it makes, but makes a negative impact.

We must understand, showing ‘Busy’ we are being cut off, we are getting isolated.

For example, if a friend called you for a weekend get-together, if you say you are ‘Busy, it will cut you off from your other friends who might come to get together and have fun. You will miss the opportunity because you show you are ‘Busy’.

It’s better that we understand it well and stop wearing busyness as a badge of honor.

Instead, make yourself available, you never know, what opportunity you may meet with.

This might change your life altogether.
