There is an interesting documentary on Netflix called Losers.
This documentary is about those individuals who were extremely smart, talented, hard-working in their professional skills for all these years and were quite successful to a greater extent too.
However something happens with them while sustaining some level of success, they missed out on winning opportunity which would have put them on such a level of success that all their ambitions and aspirations would have achieved.
Yes, it happens, happens with almost everyone. But, we come to know only about few of such individuals.
The reason, we often focus on winners, and don’t focus on the journey of losses, some losses are quite significant these individuals must have experienced along their way.
Seniors and experts often say you will get a 1,000 times NO’s before you receive one ‘Yes’. This metaphor has some truth no matter what you are trying to accomplish.
If we do a case study of anyone who has thrived in their particular expertise and become successful, will tell you they were repeatedly rejected.
Honestly, it’s only in failures, we learn to win.
